Finding a beautiful lighter bearing the name of one of the most prestigious watch brands is a rarity in itself, and since the Patek Philippe brand did not offer it publicly on the market, it is even more exclusive.
The Golden Ellipse lighter was produced in a very limited number of pieces in the late 1970s to early 1980s and was available in 18-karat yellow gold, 18-karat white gold and decorated with enamel.
Patek Philippe produced roughly 400 of the Ellipse lighter and to date only about 50 lighters are known to the public.
The present lighter, reference 9507 in blue translucent enamel is only one of five blue lighters to appear on the market.
